I'm always very active in the music during our church services as well, and on the Sundays over Christmas when I was at home and going to my old church and I just got to be a member of the congregation, it was a much-needed little break and a chance to just soak in the music and the service. And, wow, that was a really long run-on sentence. My apologies. But I'm glad you got to enjoy the service today and are feeling refreshed because of it! :) I know just how you feel.
